I am a husband and father in his mid-40's who has been married more than 20 years. I have 6 children. I am a devout Catholic.
In 2002 I started a blog under a different name. That blog focused on 'big idea' topics such as demographics, marriage patterns, moral and ethical norms, economics, philosophy, etc. I was unabashedly Socially Conservative, Economically Third Way, and exceedingly careful to be courteous and polite in all of my writing and commenting.
I received an average of 3 death threats a week, about one a month was deemed 'credible'. 2 threats led to criminal charges. After the second criminal case I deleted that blog (quite some time ago, now). Most of the people who threatened my life and the life of my family were Socially Liberal and a slight majority were women.
I have decided to return to blogging and to add social media after a long absence because I have things to say.
Why the Name? Two reasons - I am sure that it will 'auto-delete' many of the sorts of people who think 'disagreement = evil'. It will also weed out people without a sense of humor.
You don't like feminism? So, you hate women! I also dislike PUAs and the majority of MRAs; that doesn't men I hate men.
You you don't like PUAs/MRAs? So, you hate men! I also dislike feminists; that doesn't mean I hate women
I think everyone should think about those two questions, BTW.
